Fun with Habari

One of the great things about WordPress is the community of themers and the ease with which themes can be produced. Habari makes it pretty easy to produce themes as well, but, as a new product, there aren't that many themes around. To try and get a handle on the differences between the systems I decided to port over one of the great themes that are available for WordPress....

In my last post I wrote about the concept of desiging dual use themes, that is themes that will work across multiple platforms. I don’t mean themes that are ported to another platform, but one single theme that will work on both. That is what I am doing for my re-theme of this site, and in this post I will explain how I have gone about it....

In my last Habari plugins post I highlighted the differences, and similarities, in the way plugins are created for WordPress and Habari. In this post I am going to look at the differences in how the user is given configuration options....

I’ve spent the last few days writing a photoblog theme for Habari to run my future photoblog: http://www.eloquium.co.uk so I am now in a position to compare theming on WordPress to theming on Habari....
